⭐ The Story behind the Peek-a-Boo flap Innovation
After recently becoming a mum to an amazing little boy (mashallah), I found myself searching for the perfect baby clothing which was:

• practical and easy to use
• incredibly soft and comfortable
• breathable
• gentle on sensitive skin
• durable enough to handle hundreds of washes
• with modern gender neutral colours
• and of course - with designs as cute as pie!

On top of that, I wanted to make sure that the items were made in a sustainable way, for people, animals and the environment.

I couldn't find all of this, so decided to create it myself!

As parents and care givers we know how precious time is with our little ones (and also how many nappies we change each day!), so I wanted to develop unique baby clothing which were 3 things:

• Stylish and super cute! - with unique, adorable hand drawn prints.
• Super functional – specially designed for quick nappy checks, easy changes, unrestricted movement, and effortless on-and-off dressing.
• Luxurious and excellent quality – 100% Organic Certified Cotton durable clothing, with design elements such as open bottom design, integrated hand fold over scratch cuffs, anti-slip dots on the feet and premium YKK double zips, and of course - our patented Peek-a-Boo flap!

Sometimes you just know if the nappy needs changing, its bulging, or you can smell it for example, but there were some times that I just wasn’t sure. And when your baby’s napping in the car seat or snuggled in the pushchair, checking can be awkward.

I loved zipper Sleepsuits, but for nappy checking they could be frustrating having to unzip all the way down, leaving baby’s belly open to the cold. Popper Sleepsuits were also great but needed time to open and close. Both of these meant interrupting my baby to check the nappy.

And that’s how the Peek-a-Boo flap concept was born - to make parenting easier, comfier, and just a little more effortless!

From the golden sands of the UAE, to delicious chai and mangoes of India, and the rich heritage of Palestine, each piece features hand-drawn prints that celebrate the spirit of adventure. We’ve included playful little icons from each country - so your little one can wear a world of wonder, one outfit at a time!

🌍 Coucou Collection
The Coucou Collection is a sweet little play on words using alliteration - Coucou Cupcakes, Coucou Candy, and Coucou Crayons! Inspired by the colourful things little ones love most, each piece in the collection brings that same sense of joy, fun, and imagination. Just like a sprinkle-topped cupcake or a box of bright crayons, our Coucou Collection is all about celebrating childhood in the most vibrant and cheerful way possible.

Having worked in the Sustainability World for the past 15 years, delivering community energy efficiency projects, and leading waste reduction initiatives, it was really important to us to create a brand that reflects those values; one that supports people through ethical practices, protects animals by staying cruelty-free, and respects the planet by using low-impact, environmentally responsible materials.

🌱 Certified Sustainable Manufacturer

We really wanted to work with a local manufacturer to keep things close to home and reduce our carbon footprint. But after lots of searching, we couldn’t find a manufacturer nearby that met the high social and environmental standards we care so much about. So, we made the choice to partner with a fantastic manufacturer in China that holds 3 top-tier certifications - amfori BSCI®, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, and GOTS® Certified, ensuring our baby clothing is made responsibly, with safe, non-toxic materials, and under fair, ethical working conditions.

🌱 Carbon Conscious Shipping

To keep our impact as low as possible, we receive all our products by sea—the least carbon-emitting way to transport goods. Every decision we make has the planet (and your little one’s future) in mind!

🌱 Soft & Sustainable Organic Cotton

We chose Organic Cotton as the main material for our clothing as not only it is super soft and comfortable for babies, no pesticides are used so it's better for the environment. Bamboo clothing is nice, but most bamboo is turned into rayon or viscose using chemical-heavy processes even if the bamboo was grown organically, so we chose Organic Cotton for our clothing as it's in direct contact with baby's delicate skin.

Our Bibs and Muslin Cloths are made with 70% Bamboo and 30% Organic Cotton, as bamboo is great for absorbing moisture!

♻️ Recycled and Recyclable Plastic-free Packaging

We carefully chose all of our packaging so that every single item is made from recycled materials, and not using one bit of plastic - Except for the ribbon which is made from recycled RPET plastic!
